a day in the life - the book has arrived

My 2011 "A Day in the Life" book arrived from Blurb.com last night! So first thing this morning, I showed it to the girls. They couldn't wait to flip through the pages!! Gotta love that!! It took exactly one week!! Just like the first book I created in 2009, I am very happy :)
I tried to get one of both of them holding the book, but Cayla wasn't interested, but as usual my model, Alyssa was.

If you missed seeing the entire book, check it out below. I've also posted all the individual pages here on my blog.

  1. Hi! I just came to your blog via Becky Higgins...congrats on being part of her design team! I love how your book from 2011 turned out. You did such a fabulous job! What products did you use, specifically for the titles and the templates? I am attempting a digi project life this year, so I'm looking forward to getting some inspiration from your blog. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hi Fiona, Thanks for stopping by!

I am glad you like my 2011 book. I am very happy with how it turned out too.

The templates I used are no longer for sale, as the artist retired. They were by Biographitti. For the weekly titles from weeks 1 to 31 I used Ali Edwards Hand Drawn numbers and than from weeks 32 on I used the font Pea Shirley from KevinandAmanda.com.

I do highly recommend Becky's Project Life templates and digital kits. They are very versatile.

    Good luck!

  3. Hi Sheri,

Love how your book turned out for 2011! Blurb looks like a good product. (I use Shutterfly.)
I found your blog through the Becky Higgins site.
I have the Clementine digital edition, but haven't had the time or guts to even begin!!! I enjoy reading your blog and others involved in PL, hoping it will inspire me to dive in! (My only child is a freshman in college - so not at home anymore...kinda feels like it's too late for PL - but - I still take alot of pictures and I think PL would be a good way to use them!)
    Keep up the good work!
    Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. Hi Garnet,

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you do get inspired to finally begin. Trust me, you'll be so happy you did! I don't think it's ever too late for PL. It's great that you take lots of pictures! I can't think of a better way to get the stories behind them documented than Project Life!

    Good luck!
